Step 1: Preparation & Cutting
- Open the packaging. Inside, you will find your inlay stickers and a guitar pick.
- Note that each sticker is marked with a corresponding fret number.
- Carefully cut the individual stickers with scissors. Cut as close to the stickers as possible.
- Place the guitar on a flat surface to support the neck. If you don't have a neck rest, you can improvise with a roll of toilet paper.
Step 2: Placing The Stickers
- Peel off the transparent foil together with the sticker.
- For electric guitars, slide the sticker underneath the strings by the pickups.
- For acoustic guitars, slide the sticker underneath the strings above the sound hole.
- Slide the sticker to the corresponding fret position.
Step 3: Initial Application
- Apply pressure on the sticker using the transparent foil and your finger to adhere it to the fretboard.
- Repeat the process for the remaining stickers.
- Take the pick included in the package and firmly apply pressure to the stickers again.
- Wait about 30 minutes to allow the stickers to set.
