On October 14, 2025, we had the pleasure of joining the Greg Koch Guitar Clinic at the Rockland Music store for the second time. Greg is known not only for his unmatched playing and unmistakable tone, but also for his humor, openness, and passion for guitar culture. Being part of this event again was an absolute highlight - and this time, something truly special happened.
In the weeks leading up to the clinic, we prepared a custom fretlook Signature Design specifically for Greg. The concept, the patterns, the colors - everything was crafted to match his personality and his musical identity. We named the design Gristle Flow, inspired by his instantly recognizable tone and playful energy.
Right before the clinic started, we had the honor of applying the design to his guitar on site. Watching Greg pick up the instrument, examine the details, and break into his unmistakable grin was a moment we’ll never forget. He immediately connected with the design, praising its character and the way it complemented his style.
And then came the surprise: Greg decided on the spot to become the newest fretlook Signature Artist, officially adopting Gristle Flow as his personal signature design. For us, this was a huge milestone. Working with a musician of his caliber and creativity enriches everything we do.
The clinic that followed was, as expected, a joyful mix of musical brilliance, storytelling, humor, and interactive playing. Seeing Greg perform with a guitar featuring his own fretlook signature design made the whole event even more meaningful.
