BOBfest 2025: Sunshine, Rock ’n’ Roll, And An Unforgettable Day With fretlook

On July 26, 2025, fretlook teamed up with Rockland Music to bring our custom designs and festival spirit to the BOBfest in Mönchengladbach. The day had everything you could hope for: blazing sunshine, a packed festival area, and the kind of rock ’n’ roll atmosphere that makes you forget the time from the moment you arrive.

The fun actually started long before the festival gates opened. Early in the morning, we drove over to pick up Ryan Roxie and Tommy Henriksen from the Alice Cooper band. And yes — we did it with our rather questionable-looking transport vehicle, which made the whole situation even more hilarious. Both Ryan and Tommy were incredibly relaxed, cracking jokes nonstop and setting the tone for a day full of good vibes. Starting the BOBfest like that was truly unforgettable.

Back at the festival grounds, our stand quickly turned into one of the busiest spots on site. Visitors stopped by continuously to check out our custom designs, share their stories, and simply enjoy the energy. The weather couldn’t have been better, and the entire area was buzzing from start to finish.

One of the biggest highlights for us was having the chance to work again on Ryan Roxie’s new V-shape guitar, giving it a fresh fretlook custom design. Seeing fans admire the instrument — and Ryan proudly showing it off — made all the work that went into it feel incredibly rewarding.

Later in the afternoon, Ryan joined us at the booth for a signing session. Fans lined up early, eager to meet him, exchange a few words, and get their memorabilia signed. His upbeat personality and genuine connection with people made the moment special for everyone involved.

As the day turned into evening, the festival turned things up to eleven. Alice Cooper took the stage as the headliner, delivering a show full of theatrics, power, and classic rock magic. The lineup also featured bands like Danko Jones and H-Blockx, making the entire event feel like a celebration of rock culture across generations.

BOBfest 2025 was everything we love about being part of the music world: creative collaborations, inspiring conversations, and a community that comes together for the love of sound, style, and expression. We left tired, sun-soaked, and incredibly grateful for everyone who stopped by. We can’t wait to be back next year.
